- Long years ago it is said there was a graveyard in Tom Caulfield's land in Carralackey. In a field adjoining this in the same man's land there is a well which is supposed to be sacred. It is called the holy well of Saint Jude. It scarcely ever dries except in a very warm summer and then, only for a very short time.
IT is also said that St Movee was buried in that graveyard first and when the new one was made he was lifted, and reburied in it.
This field is owned by: Tom Caulfield 65, Carralackey, Kilmovee, Ballaghaderreen.- Collector
