    The little young men from the glade and the glen
    And the coleens with blue eyes beaming
    They tripped the floor in the Rinnce Mor
    Mid a peal of merry laughter
    Whilst the old fiddle croons to the dancing tunes
    And the songs that followed after

    I brought to the curate and christening
    And played and sang till the rafters rang
    And the eyes of all were glistening
    Each wedding day I came the way
