    Ducks
    The way I play Duck is to leave a flat stone or flag on the road and to put another about seven yards away for the players to stand at. All have to get a round stone about two ^ in weight. These stones are called ducks.
    Each one stands at the mark and pitches his duck away. The farthest duck away will have to be put on the stand. Each goes and stands at the mark and throws his duck again. This time he tries to knock down the duck which is on the stand.
    When all have thrown their ducks if the stone is not down all will get their stones and run. The licker will follow them. The one he licks will have to put his stone
