    The hammer is used for striking the iron. The Pincers is used for pulling the nails of the shoes. The rasp is used for making the horse hoof kind, and to make it even for to put the shoe on. The borer is used for making holes in the shoes and the nails are used for fastening the shoes to the hoof.
    It is a coal fire the Blacksmith has in his forge always because it is the best and the quickest for reddining the iron.
