    When the wind is blowing from the North it is the sign of rain.

    When smoke goes up straight it is the sign of good weather.

    Sea Birds always come inland on the approach of a storm.

    Before rain cows be down so as to keep a dry patch under them.

    Pigs are very restless before rain approaches and they are often seen carrying sticks to their beds.

    Fowls always shelter in their houses before rain, but on fine weather they ramble through the fields.

    In fine weather ducks wade in the water but before rain comes they wander through the fields.
