  1. Once upon a time there were men making "poitín" back the mountains. It was told to the guards and they went to the house. The men saw them coming but all they could do was to leave a barrel outside. They left it under the pipe where the water was coming down of the house.
    The civic Guards came to the door in a side car. When they came to the door they left the horse and car outside and they went in the search the house. The horse was thirsty. When he saw the barrel of water as he thought he went to it and drank enough of the (poitín). When they had
