    changed himself into a woman.
    When the man came with the horse and hound as far as the house he got off the horse and an old woman came to the door, and asked him if he would let her in.
    "Come in" said the man
    "I cannot" said the woman, "I am afraid that the Horse, would kick me or the hound would bit me
    "Would you please tie them" sir she said.
    "I have nothing to tie them" said the man
    "Here are three ribs from the top of my head and tie and them with it" said the old woman.
    There was a fire in the corner and he put the ribs into the fire and burned them. Soon after the woman came in, and as she came to the door she shouted
    "Food here or fight quickly"
