The Friar's Grave is situated about ten perches from John Galligan's Fort in the townland of Drumcrow. It is about two yards long and about one yard wide. It is raised up from the rest of the field. There is moss growing on the top of the grave. There is a sewer all around it. It is said that a fairy king was buried in this grave. It is said that it is not right to walk on that grave. Once a man was going to shoot wild-fowl who were on the grave. Every time he would raise the gun he would get weak. At lenght he came home. When he was coming home he could see a church and a grave-yard in front of him.Matt Smyth
