Lucht siubhail Certain travellers call to my house from time to time namely: - The Carthys, the Caseys, the Doyles, the Sherlocks, the Molloys, the Delaneys, and the Burkes. The Carthys are natives of Limerick. They go from house to house begging. The Doyles are from Nenagh and sell articles such as:- pictures, brushes, camphor, and candlesticks. They sometimes mend umbrellas. The Sherlocks from Ennistymon make tin-cans and saucepans. They buy asses and old horses, and take ass and cart around to houses. The Burkes from Ennis come in a pony and trap. They also sell articles made of tin, and clean chimneys. The Molloys and the Delaneys come from Waterford.
