O'Connellan - The Bard Outside the north-eastern corner of the ruin but without any particular stone or mark by which the exact spot could be identified, lie the remains of the celebrated travelling minstrel Thomas O'Connellan, who was born at Cloonamahon, Co Sligo, and who died at Bourchier's Castel AD1700.
