Blessed Wells Ireland from time immemorial has been celebrated for its Holy Wells and Healing Fountains. Blessed Wells are fairly numerous in this district but some of them are not widely known. St. Bride's Well is situated in this district and people visit it. They are wont to visit this well for the performance of certain religious "rounds" on the feast day of Saint Brigid. There is a trout in this "Holy Well" and people believe if the request they ask is granted they will see the trout. There is a "Blessed Well" in the middle of a bog in Foxwood known as St. Lasser's Well. This well is not widely known and on this account there are no pilgrimages to it, only the people from the townland. There is a strange story told about it.
