Warts. Apply crow's milk to the wart. Toothache. Rub poteen on it. Earache. Put hot onion up against it, and put a bandage around it. Itch. Rub sulphur to it. Tonsilitis. Roast potatoes near the fire When roasted mash them and put them in a stocking, and put it around the person's neck, and renew the application when cold. Rheumatism. Boil rock, seaweed, and bathe when scalding hot. Windgall. Spriknle it with maide lobhtha. Cold sores. Get the stalks of a dog-leaf, peel the outer rind of the stalk until you come to the white skin. Apply the white skin where the sore is, and it sticks on like plaster. Sprain. Rub goose fat to it, and leave fat on, with it bandaged tightly. Cut.
