This sailing ship with a cargo of timber was driven ashore at Cuan Eamoin (?), west of Fenit Island about the year 1874. There was only one survivor, all the rest were drowned. The Landlord J.C. Hurly claimed the cargo and got it all as he always claimed whatever landed on the fore-shore. He used all the timber in building Fenit House. From John Slattery, Fenit Island.An Dothra BheagRhiannon
