It is situated in the farm which now belongs to Thomas Dillon of Duagh, but which was once the home of the Fitzmaurices, the landlords of the locality. Although the well is now dry except during the winter months, great numbers visit it and pray "rounds" there on certain days. "Rounds" are performed there on any Saturday throughout the year but particularly on the SaturdayElla DmitrievaEmma Palozzi
