The names of the local roads I know are:- "The Moss Road" which leads from the foot of Leitrim lane to the Crossroads. "Bogay Road" which leads from Bogay to the main road. "Mason's Road" which leads from "The Hill Road" to a bridge and there are three roads meet together. I don't know when they were made. The roads are very old in my district. The roads are still used. There are no local accounts as to when they were made. I do not know if roads were made in my district as a relief work during the famine period. There are no mountain passes in my district. I do not know if the rivers were crossed by means of fords at shallow places before bridges were made in my district. Sometimes people gather at the crossroads for playing. There are no heaps of stones or monuments to the dead along any road in my district. There are no mass paths.Mark Jenkins
