one will notice that a lot of those birds are not to be seen anywhere. It is no wonder they are not to be seen, for they are not in the country atall. Those birds have fled away before the winter cold to the warmer countries of the south. Those that have migrated are the swallows, the yellow-hammer, the cuckoo, the magpie and the pigeon. But, scarcely have we missed those birds than we hear the hum of heavy wings striking the air in perfect rhythm.
