The Mahons came to Ballysaggart two years ago. They came from Galway. They did not lodge in any house. They had tents on the roadside. They went around to the houses by day for alms. They sold gallons and quarts. They remained in Ballysaggart for ten days. A traveller came to Ballysaggart about a month ago. His name was James Delaney. He came from Leix.
