Story (26) I live in a Townland called Barr an Churraigh which is in the parish of Newmarket and in the Diocese of Cloyne.
Along the southern part of this townland there is a wood. In the western part of the wood there is a great mound of earth called Clais Domhnaill. It is said that a giant named Dómhnall jumped from the Both Carthaig to this spot and made that clais with his heels. |
