The farm was divided among each man receiving an equal share. The part each got is called newby its former owner's name. - named Richardson, Harristown and Milerstown. The "Bawn" is called so because it is a grazing district and under the grass tree is nothing but white sand. |

In Moore Abbey there is a ell called "Lord Henry's" well; it is called by this name because one day a certain Lord Henry was riding his horse past where the well is at present, and the horse's foot lipped and he found the spring.
