1. The Glenties Co. operative store had a narrow escape from being burned to the ground nine or ten years ago. The Cope at that time was situated in Gort Na Muckla. The house is now occupied by Miss Kennedy,
A good part of the goods were saved, as for the house nothing was left but the four walls.
2. Another burning case happened in Gort Na Muckla where by a byre and two cows, the property of John Hanlaghan the Brook was destroyed by fire. The cause
