  1. About nine or ten years ago a great storm rose. It tossed trees and the slates was blown of the houses. The cows were in and they had no grass to get and the farmer had to give them hay. The potatoes crop was destroyed and the corn crop was destroyed. It lasted for one day and the people could go outside. The roads were all broken up and the lands were flooded.
