    they sell very useful things. They go around from house to house with baskets selling candlesticks, hair brushes, combs, laces, hair oil, jugs, shirt studs, looking glasses, holy pictures, and many other small things. They buy those things at Woolworths in Limerick for sixpence. They ask for tea and sugar, and many other things. They do not stay very long in Meggah. There are tinkers called Delaney's that camp in Meggah also. They sell and buy horses and asses, and they go to fairs. They keep about twenty six asses.
