Making the Churn
4th April,1938.
There are two kinds of churns. One of which is called the barrel churn,and the other is called the dash churn. The dash churn is generally used here around.the butter is made in the dash churn by a dash.
Superstition.
It is said that it is unlucky to make a churn without putting holywater and salt on it.It is said that if a person went into a house ,and they making the Churn and not to make a start of it the Churn(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
