  1. The townland in which I live is Ballinabrone. It is situated in the parish of OCallaghans Mills. It consists of a hundred acres of land. It is divided into a number of fields. The names of the fields are cnuice breaca, seana caisleáin, an t-acar an gáirdín and pairc na scoile. There is a ruin of an old school in pairc na scoile. It is said that it was a school in the penal days. A river runs by the side of it
