- Father SheehyWhen Father Sheehy was killed his head was put on the spike of the Old Barracks gate and his sister, a very pious woman, took it down and put it in her apron and buried it under the one of the cellars under St. Mary's Church. It is said the print of her hand which was all blood came out on the door and all the painting which was done or would ever be done would not take it off of it.
