    Churning
    This is how butter was made in olden times. People used to let milk set a day in pens, and then skim the cream. Then put it inot a churn barrell and churn it until butter was made. Wash the buttermilk out of it well and salt it. Then it was ready for use. It is made in a staff churn and anyone who comes in while it is being made should put a hand on it. Buttermilk
