- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)About sixteen years ago there was a man home from America in the neighbourhood of Mangerton, and before he went away again he gave a party.
He invited all his friends from the districts around where he lived. Young and old attended and there was great fun, which lasted all night.
In the dead hours of the night three elderly people from Mangerton intended to go home. There were two men and a woman. The distance home was about two miles. One man, the youngest of them, lived over one hundred yards from the other two.
They had travelled over a mile of the road when the young man and the other man's wife got lonesome and they started praying silently. Then they heard the sand of the road being torn up, and saw as it seemed some objects in the form of animals playing some queer kind of antics in the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
