    The patron St of Duagh is St Bridget the church in Duagh is dedicated to her there is also a well called after her it is a little distance from the church. The 2nd February is kept in honour of her there are masses offered in honour of her and many people pay rounds at the well on the Saturday before her feast.
    St Bridget built many monasteries and worked many miracles she is invoked in a special way for sick cattle, St Bridget was born in
