  1. There is a field in this locality by the name of the Clann Mór which means the big family. It is so called because there was a large family living in that field long ago. There is another field by the name of Cnochán a Buachaillín. It was so called because there was a high hill there and little boys used to play on the top of that hill. The origin of these field were greatly understood by the people long ago,
