- There was once an old woman dying off the coast, of Donegal. There was an awful storm blowing the same night and no one liked to go for the priest. One young man went for the priest and when he was coming with the priest, the two were drowned. In an hours time the priest came to the house drenched wet and as white as sheet. He heard confession and administered the last Sacrament.
The old woman died and was buried. The people did not know about the drowning but they never saw the priest again.
