    Old Crafts 21-38
    The people used make their own baskets out of sally twigs. The twigs used be pealed. When a man is thatching he uses a leather for the pame of his hand and also a knife to cut the thatch. He uses a bundle of straw or rushes tied with a rope and cut a start for the scullops, this is called a darby.
