- Weather's Well is between Abbeydorney and Causeway it is a holy well. There is a Mass Rock there. This is how it got its name.
When the priest was saying Mass there one day, a pack of blood-hounds came on. Then three weathers' sprang up from the ground and ran off towards the sea. The hounds ran in pursuit of them. The people and the priest excaped from them. It is famous for its cures nowadays
