  1. The people in olden times used to eat two meals a day. They used to eat Indian meal in porridge and potatoes and oaten bread and boxty bread. They used to eat their meals in the morning and evening. The used to do some work before having food.
    Potatoes were not eaten at each meal. Milk was drunk often. The people had no tables they had to eat the potatoes out of a basket on the middle of the floor. They drank buttermilk with the potatoes. The people used to eat a lot of eggs
