    The Old Graveyards 30-5-'38
    There are two churchyards in this parish. The old Abbey and St. Augustines. The Old Abbey is situated in the Abbey Park and St. Augustines in Crossconnell. The two graveyards are still in use and they are both round but not level. The church in the Abbey Park is ruined.
    The Old Abbey slopes to the South and St. Augustines to the East. There are no trees growing in graveyards they were cut some years ago. There are very old tombs and crosses in the graveyards so old that the writing cannot be read.
    The crosses and tombs are made of iron and they are not ornamented.
