    "A Tragic Accident"
    On last Tuesday evening at about five o'clock a terrible accident occurred a few miles outside Ballinasloe. A little boy named Peter Kennedy was on his way home from school and he was running after a hoop. The boy ran across the road after the hoop when suddenly a Ford car came rushing round a turn on the road and ran against the boy and injured his head. The doctor and priest were sent for immediately. The priest anointed the boy who was taken to hospital and where he die about two hours after going into the hospital.
