  1. Molly Ban
This is also an old ballad about a young man named Reynolds who shot a lovely young girl. Some people used to say that Reynolds knew well what he was doing, that his attentions were not taken seriously. But the Reynolds held that he did it accidentally.
The whole song is not written here as I couldn't remember it now, and my mother is too old and her memory for verse not good.
Come all ye young heroes who carry a gun.
Beware of late shooting after sundown.
For I have shot lovely Molly the pride of them all.
She stood under a green bush her beauty to screen.
With her white scarf around her I took her for a swan.
But a woe and alack, I was my own Molly Ban.
