- Boys and girls made a lot of toys long ago. Girls used to make daisy chains which they do always.
Girls also used to play jackstones. They got five black round stones and they tossed one stone up in the air. Then while that stone was up in the air they had to gather the other four stones with one hand and be ready to catch the one in the air when it comes down. They used to say this rhyme when they used be playing(continues on next page)
