  1. The boys of this place long ago used play huoley and football on Sundays. The hurl was made from a stick with a cámóg.
    The ball was made of woollen thread covered outside with a sheep skin. The Durlesses used to come up to play with the hurlers here. They used to play in fields. They used to play handball at the school gables.
