  1. A few nights ago, an old man told me a story. He said I knew a man who was going to a fair to Claremorris, and he was riding on a horse. When he came mear a bridge the horse began to get frightened. The man saw a coffin right beside the bridge, on matter how in devil he would beat the horse he would not pass bridge.
    All of a sudden a woman dressed in white stood beside the coffin, and asked the man what brought himself and his horse this way. All the man did
