- When the storm was long ago it knocked several trees in Lankill wood. The storm blew the roof off the tower in Aughagower and put it down into MountBrown. The roof was put miles from the tower and ever since the tower is falling. The storm knocked several headstones and it knocked houses too. Everyone was tying the doors outside, and tying the houses and stables to keep the roofs from being blown away. Their hay was blown away as were a also their stacks of oats.
