  1. Once upon a time when St Patrick was in Aughagower he had a lot of men working. Everybody was giving him cattle or sheep or some form of presents. There was a big giant in the village at the time who hated St Patrick. He had a very cross-bull and he said he would give it to St Patrick. He knew that either St Patrick or his boy would come for the bull and that he would kill them.
    One day St Patrick sent the boy for the bull and he walked home with him as quietly as a lamb.
    St Patrick then killed the bull and when it was about a week killed the giant accused him of having stolen his bull. St Patrick was
