  1. Fighting the Devil
    There lived a man in the last century. His neighbour died and appeared to him. The living man asked him why he was there and he answered "If you would do a certain thing for me I could go to heaven". The other man asked him what was it and he told him it was to fight the devil. The other man asked him how that could be done and he said to put down a big fire in a certain place and to have plenty of holy water. The man consented to do it. He brought the priest with him and some neighbours. He lit the fire and
