  1. Long ago the people used to eat different food to what they eat now-a-days. They would rise at six o 'clock & set to work. At about ten o'clock they would come in & eat their breakfasts. For breakfast they had potatoes & bacon & if they wished to take oat-meal bread with it. For dinner they ate oatmeal porridge & milk. They would place a large basket on the middle of the floor & about seven people would get around it. After dinner they would hang up the table. For supper they ate potato
