    God spare you your health (the County Clare payment).
    That you may never know what it is to be in want.
    That you may always have enough.
    God's blessing down on you every hour and minute of the day.
    The grace of God is nearer than the door.
    This old saying was said to a poor woman who was in sore distress. "I wont be long finding out" said she. She stood up and made her way to the door. As she did so she broke her leg.
