  1. The feast day that I am going to talk about is called St. Patrick's Day. It is a great day in Ireland, the feast is held on the 17th of March. The people wear a piece of Shamrock on that day the shamrock does not grow in any other country but Ireland.
The people of Ireland at the time of Patrick were pagans. He went to every County town and village in Ireland except to Co Clare. He blessed Clare from Knock Patrick which is across the shannon.
The people of Clare especially from west Clare went across the shannon to hear him.
