    There was a big storm on the 26th February 1903,it did great damage ,knocked houses, and uprooted trees,and knocked hay ricks.One man was going around asking his neighbours ,have you seen my little cock of hay anywhere.
    There was a storm in the year 1839 ,and it was always spoken of by the old people as the night of the big wind.Several people left their houses ,and sheltered by the ditch.They quenched their fires lest their houses would be burned.There were many wrecks at sea,and a considerable number of lives lost.
    Thunder and lightning is always more feared than a wind storm. Long ago a man had a son ,and he was
    told ,that the child was born under an unlucky planet and that he would be killed by lightning ,when he was eighteen years old,.So his father had a big rock on his band ,and he spend several years hewing out a great hole in the
