The "round"consisted of going round the well 3 times saying a "round "of the beads with each and when and then wash the eyes with the water if the Tobar.
it was the custom to leave something after performing a round e .f,button ,medal ,safety-pin ,horse-shoe,nail or any little iron or tin,on the grass beside the well.
A good many people used to take home some water in a bottle to have against sore- eyes
It is the belief in the district that you once you promise to do a round you must fulfil that promise :else if you did some relative of yours must perform 3 rounds in atonement.
