    They have a great many signs too about the weather. Some people know a lot about the weather. They know when we are going to have rain or snow or frost.
    The people say if you see a dog eating grass it is the sign of rain.
    If you see a cat scraping anything it is the sign of a storm.
    When the cattle lie down in the fields and stop grazing it is the sign for rain.
    If you see the goats running to the ditches it is the sign of rain.
    When you see a rainbow in the morning it is the sign of bad weather.
    A blood sunset is the sign of frost.
    A broken sunset is the sign of rain.
    If you see a crane going up the river it is a sign of rain.
    When you see a cat turning his tail to the fire it is the sign of very cold weather.
    If you see a rainbow in the evening it is the sign of good weather.
    They say if you see a shadow in the lake it is the sign of rain.
    When the wind blows from the north it is a sign of snow.
