She was a Carr from Drumooslin near Bailieboro.- To entertain a visitor to a farmer's house in Tullylurkin about 1800, there was put on the table, a roll of butter, cakes of oaten bread, honey in combs and tumblers of new milk. They also used homemade cheese in this house.
