Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Maghera old graveyard is about two miles from Scotshouse. It is called by very old people "St. Patrick's graveyard" for it is said, if the soil was turned up from one end of the graveyard to the other end no worms, grubs or insects would be found in it, as St. Patrick put them out of the soil there.
    The graveyard faces South East, and the old church is a complete ruin.
    Felix Boylan, grandfather of the present village blacksmith, who can cure rickets, cut out his own tombstone to be erected over his grave when he was quite a young man.
